Benefits and Changes with an Alkaline PH Diet

Are you tired and sluggish all of the time?

Does it seem that you get sick a lot?

Are you overweight?

Do you have serious health issues?

Are you on all sorts of medication?

You can make the decision to change this.

I use to feel like trash all of the time. When I got home from work all I wanted to do was go to bed. I couldn't think clear and I didn't want to do anything.

One day after a company holiday party I was holding an open house and had felt the effects from having too many drinks from the night before. I was tired, sick and unproductive...

Although while I was at the open house I had been listening to a recording from Tony Robbins on Pure Energy. This session was discussing health and the benefits of an alkaline diet. What this boiled down to was what we have heard before "we are what we eat". Most of our diets consist of sugars, caffeine and highly processed foods all of which weaken our immune system and clog our blood system which decreases oxygen flow and damaging cells.

I was tired of being sick and tired so I had to give this a try and starting cutting out coffee, sugars, processed foods and cholesterol based foods. I choose alkaline based foods such as vegetables, tofu, soy & almond milk, almonds instead of processed foods, sugars & fatty meats. I starting drinking green & PH teas using stevia (a completely natural sweetener). I also started the day of with a green drink including a serving of wheat grass.

I wasn't extremely over weight but within weeks dropped twenty pounds, felt better and had more energy.

Annually our insurance company allows us to take a health screening. In the picture to the upper right it shows my cholesterol levels since 2009 and that it was above the desirable rate plus how it looks now after changing my eating habits.

Some of the results that an alkaline diet has provided for me are:

  • Increased energy level and stamina
  • Averaging a 60 point drop in cholesterol
  • Dropped 25 pounds
  • Reduced fat and increase muscle percentage
  • Haven't been sick (including the common cold) for a year and a half

Others have reported and documented these benefits of an alkaline PH diet:

  • Improved immune function
  • Healthier teeth and gums
  • Slower aging
  • Weight loss
  • Eliminating serious health issues

There are a lot of benefits but the point is. If you are sick, tired, overweight and have to constantly take medications you can probably fix it with choosing alkaline forming foods.

As I mentioned starting your day off with a green drink is a great way to boost your energy and increase your immune system.
